Web services are becoming the dominant intergration technology for both inter and intra-enterprise systems. However, multi-vendor interoperability is problematic for all but the simplest use cases. The combination of more advanced web services technologies such as reliablility and security creates situations that, to date, have not been throughly tested for interoperability. This creates risk and uncertainty for organizations that are, or plan on, using web services across their heterogenous environments.

The Web Services Test Forum (WSTF) is a collaboration of customers, vendors, and Open Source projects whose purpose is to identify scenarios of common interest and to test the interoperability of their web services implementations for these scenarios. The WSTF also provides a shared testbed for on-going regression testing, freeing members from installing, configuring, and maintaining each other's products in-house.

We will provide a short presentation on the WSTF, its purpose, who should participate, and how to participate, followed by a Q&A session.
